This bms is without balancing function.
It can make 3S-10S li-ion battery pack; and it ALSO have two types connection way for discharging.
Over Charge voltage:4.25v±0.05v
Over Discharge voltage: 2.5v±0.02v
Over current :100A
Short Cut:Protectable,Charge can repair
There are 10 singal wires, if you make 4S battery pack, you can just connect 4 wires.
It max can make 10S battery pack.
this board can use as 4S/20A, 5S/20A, 6S/20A, 7S/20A, 8S/20A, 9S/20A, 10S/20A PCM.
There are two connections ways :
1) Charge/discharge with different ports:
"P-" is the discharge negative end,"P+"is the discharge positive end.
" C-" is the charge negative end, "P+" is the charge positive end.
Charge current is 15A;Discharge current is 30A.
2) Charge/discharge with the same ports:
" C- " is the charge/discharge negative end.
" P+ "is the charge/discharge positive end .
Charge/discharge current is 20A
a little knowlegde about balancing:
The first signal wire cannot connect to battery negative end. if not, it will be short cut.
It should connect the 3.6V to the joint of first cell positive end and second cell negative end.
Many people asked whether with balancing function before they buy the bms.
As to the balancing means when the battery charging,each series battery need with the same voltage,when the voltage is not the same,the high voltage battery will discharge to wait the other battery rise at the same level.
As we know that the battery cannot balanced, just because the battery capacity and voltage and resistance not at the same level.For example, you use the 3S battery pack,
When one battery capacity is lower than other 2 cells, if you use the bms with balancing to charge,the result is that the low capacity cell ‘s voltage first rise up,and then it start to discharge to wait the other2 cells to protective voltage.(what i said is that the resistance and voltage is the same, just the capacity is different) they get balanced. But as we know the battery pack working, the low capacity cell will discharge firstly,and the bms test the protective voltage to stop whole pack working. After lots cycles, the low capacity cells is aging firstly. From this factor, we do not suggest use balancing .Only when we match the cell capacity and resistance and voltage at the same level.
